VNISH support and troubleshooting checklist

This independent hub provides self-service guidance, not official vendor support. The checklist below helps isolate common install and recovery problems without guessing.

Before troubleshooting

  • Record the full miner model and serial-family label.
  • Identify the control board and cooling type.
  • Record the current firmware build and install method.
  • Save screenshots and kernel/system logs.
  • Verify the package hash.

Do not

  • Flash another model's package to test whether it works.
  • Power-cycle repeatedly during a write operation.
  • Roll out a workaround to the whole farm first.
  • Expose the miner web UI or SSH to the internet.
  • Assume rollback preserves warranty or settings.

Information to include when requesting help

Provide the exact model, control-board type, cooling type, stock and target build, installation method, relevant log excerpt, LED behaviour, network reachability and what recovery steps have already been attempted. Remove passwords, pool credentials, private IP inventories and wallet-related secrets before sharing logs.
